The Show
The story of how humans have read the stars — told by a comedian who interviews scientists for a living.
“From early navigational tools, to myths, to even stranger realities that modern tools have discovered.”
Shane Mauss (Conan, Comedy Central, the TRIPS specials, host of the science podcast Here We Are) has spent years interviewing scientists and turning what he learns into stand-up.
In Cosmic Relief, he digs into the history of human interpretations of the stars — from early navigational tools, to myths, to the even stranger realities that modern tools have discovered.
One night only, he is joined by nebulous dream-pop artist Grace C. Elliot, who turns it all into sound.
